Planning system 'unfair' - claim
Fighting development plans is fast becoming too complicated and too costly for ordinary people.
That's the view of the Ballasalla Residents' Association, which is embroiled in a battle with the Department of Local Government and the Environment over the Crossag Farm development.
The scheme, to build 250 new homes near the village, was thrown out by a planning inspector.
But now Dolge is challenging that ruling, which means the residents will have to find at least £20,000 to continue their opposition.
