Friends of Ballasalla

I would like to introduce everyone to our new page for as the title states the ‘Friends of Ballasalla’, they are anybody who has an interest in Ballasalla, Isle of Man, whether it be ‘ I have seen this strange name I wonder where it is ?’ or ‘I have relative who came from there or worked there’ So basically anyone.

We are interested to know who is viewing and reading our site, so if you wish to please register with our site. We will be only to pleased to place anything you wish to say on here, you will also receive a monthly newsletter email about Ballasalla and the Association also if you have a story or an interest in Ballasalla in the Isle of Man please let us know.

For those who have been directed straight here or have not had time to go through all our site, we are the residents association for Ballasalla a village in the parish of Malew, in the Isle of Man a crown dependency island in the centre of the Irish Sea between England and Ireland, we are the first village most air travellers pass through upon arriving at Ronaldsway Airport, we are lovers of our village and are determined to see that nothing detrimental happens to our village or our way of life. I could go on and on about things that have been done or tried to of been done here but if you glance through our site you will see what has occurred over the last few years.

So if you have a question or a view on anything you have seen or read please get in touch via the contact section.

Also much as I hate to bring the subject up we are an association which is financed by membership fees and kind donations. If you feel moved or interested enough to help us financial please get in touch we do have a PayPal account. May I point out that all our committee members etc are volunteers, our expenses are only for legal fees and small administration items which can not provided by our members. We are also looking for advertisers on this site this can be done by a donation.

So if you wish to leave a message here on this page or you have a picture with a Ballasalla connection. Please do get in touch we would love to hear from you and put you down as a Friend of Ballasalla.

Thank you for your time
The Editor.
