IN MEMORY OF A TRULY AMAZING MAN

On 10th March at Silverdale a memorial tree and plaque was dedicated to an amazing man, Cecil Mitchell who passed away at the grand age of 102 year of age.

Many eminent people from national and local government, and the Steam Packet, where present to remember this extraordinary man.

More of his life and his legacy to Malew and the Isle of Man, in the shape of Silverdale and his very special record in our Autumn issue of the Malew Guardian.
