Jan Withey, who is in charge of health education in the school, explained that to coincide with national skipping day, they decided to hold a whole day of events related to health awareness.
'We invited Robinson's and they came in with little dishes of fruit for them to try,' she said.
'Janna Horsthuis and Tony O'Reilly came in and wandered round all the classes, they gave each child a dish. It was a taste experience and to try and get them to taste different fruit.
'They were really super. They gave each class a talk about healthy eating.'

There was a skipping demonstration in the hall, following a visit and guidance from Michelle Flanagan, health promotion officer at the Department of Health and Social Security.
Pupils were successful in breaking a number of records for skipping set in the Island and recorded on the DHSS website.
Children around the world also benefited from the healthy theme day as the school council decided the beneficiaries of fundraising should be Water Aid.

The charity works in some of the most impoverished areas of the world to promote safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. In the school hall a river of coins was created by children placing coins over a river drawn on paper that went twice round the hall and they raised £271.
'It was just a lovely day, it was a lot of hard work organising it!' said Mrs Withey. 'I thoroughly enjoyed it and the children did too, hopefully we got some health messages across.'
