The Langness inquiry report has been further delayed.

Transport minister David Anderson had hoped to make a statement to next week’s Tynwald about the findings.

However, due to what are described as 'particularly complex parts of the inquiry', the report won’t be completed until the end of the month.

The hearing, which concluded in October, centres on public rights of way on the Langness peninsula and was sparked when TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson diverted a path around his home.

He says there's no right of way across his land, while local residents say they have been using the footpath for decades.
