J.C. PROPERTIES RECYCLING CENTER
The planning application put forward by J.C. Properties for a recycling centre on the Ronaldsway estate, has brought an objection from Castletown Commissioners, they now join a long list of objectors including Malew Commissioners, businesses, residents from the area and BADRA.
A resident of Brookfield Avenue, Paul Kennaugh a Castletown Commissioner read a letter to the Commissioners meeting from his neighbours asking the Commissioners to object to the planning application on the grounds of traffic congestion, air quality due to stone crushing on site, and concerns of the recycling of asbestos waste, Mr Kennaugh said ‘We want heavy industry on Balthane and light industry in Ronaldsway’
A proposal by Alwyn Callister that the commissioners object on behalf of the residents of Brookfield Avenue received the board’s full support.
